About me

Who I am

I am Daniel Luca (aka CleanUnicorn), based in Bucharest, Romania — a builder, a hacker and an extropian.

Builder — I have been shipping software since 2008, and most of what I make is open source and starts as something I wanted to exist. Hacker — I take systems apart to see where they give, and I have been doing that on Ethereum since 2017. Extropian — I bet on progress: on technology, open systems and the people willing to build them, over pessimism and over hype.

I care about open source, security, and getting the details right. I favour trust-minimized architectures and adversarial code review: systems that hold up under attack, not ones that ride a narrative.

What I do

CTO at a stealth startup — since August 2026. The company has not announced itself yet; details once it launches.

Technical Partner at Eden Block — I build and improve our internal processes — we are tech driven in this approach — and run the technical evaluation behind early-stage investments.

Open-source projects — tools people run: Earheart for private, on-device dictation, Agents Library for coding agents that open reviewable pull requests, drove for running local LLMs, Karl for hunting live smart-contract exploits, and the RL-Swarm contracts behind Gensyn ’s first public launch. Security research — I audit Ethereum smart contracts through Akira Tech , and before that at ConsenSys Diligence on Uniswap, Aave, Filecoin and Polygon.

Whether I’m writing a contract, breaking one or evaluating a seed round, the lens is the same — open source, sound engineering and long-term fundamentals over hype.

Earheart

Private, hotkey-driven voice dictation for Windows, macOS and Linux — speech-to-text and LLM cleanup run in-process on your own machine, so nothing ever leaves it.

Agents Library

Stack-agnostic coding agents and review skills for Claude Code and Codex — each one makes a single focused change per run and opens a reviewable pull request.

Local LLM infrastructure in one tool — a llama.cpp server manager, chat interface, observability proxy and model manager.

Karl

My security research, productized: it monitors live Ethereum smart contracts and tests them against vulnerabilities with Mythril, forking the chain to confirm real exploits and cut false positives.

RL-Swarm Smart Contracts

The smart contracts powering Gensyn ’s RL Swarm — a distributed reinforcement-learning system that lets anyone, anywhere, join and train models that learn faster together than alone. Built for their first public launch.
